A good performance thus far bar the Scrum. It still needs putting right.

A win at Welford road is still an impressive achievement.

Chuffed with that performance

Spencer was superb; Mikey Rhodes strong off the bench.

Mako maybe due a rest?

Well done lads. An excellent win away at a tough venue. Extra pigs-in-blankets for all tomorrow!

I hope the players enjoy their rest and I look forward to watching them continue to build on that performance next year.

Hard luck on Leicester. On another day Mako might have gone earlier and even if the law is clear Mays red seemed harsh. Ultimately the difference in composure at 9 and 10 between the two sides made a big difference.

(Sm128) to all.

Thank goodness for that.Scrum looked dodgy, but hey ho.I thought Callum Clarke played well, but nobody can deny Jackson Wray his man of the match.

Jackson Wray - you have earned your Christmas dinner!

Were we the only ones screaming at the TV willing Mark McCall to substitute Mako before he got a yellow card?

He would certainly benefit from not starting next week, even though we would miss his ball carrying. But don't forget he has been up against two of the best tightheads in Europe these past 3 weeks!

But I mean most of us would concede it's a yellow - given the timing the effect would be pretty equivalent.

The normal one match automatic ban for a red via two yellows can be waved if at least be is for a technical foul - when both are, I'd imagine that's assured, which is good.

In the final scrum of the game, we were amazingly dominant. Barrington should have been on much earlier!
