Used to be a member of the SSA and went on the occasional bus trip to away games but it lapsed when they didn't remind me it needed renewing.
As for Sarries on Tour, I know nothing against them but I despise social media, and I'm fed up with people going on about SoT (I instinctively reject hype).
Basically I just don't care how many Sarries supporters are going to an away game, where they are sitting, or whether I will be anywhere near them. Very happy doing my own thing.

Loving your independent spirit RS but some of my best days with the MiB have been European away days with the travelling faithful - Biarritz has to get a special mention. Hope they get promoted soon! HNY to all

Deeply distressing is the transformation of the originals, the FezBoys, from Libertaaay, Egalitaay, Fraternitaay, and of course Partaay, reduced to an elitist closed group rump:
FezBoys elite
A closed group of 51 no less.

Seeing nothing here to tempt me to align myself with either group. As the patch says on my old motorcycle jacket "Caution: does not play well with others".
A free pint to anyone who comes up to me at an away game and says "you are RustySword".

RustySword - you don't know a bloke called Dave from Woodford do you? He made that sort of offer once...

For clarity the SSA no longer arrange travel

For Miss de Point - the FezBoys group is a closed one, just as the Sarries on Tour Group is.

Excuse my ignorance but slightly baffled as to why we seemingly have two seperate supporter groups at the club now; as a member of neither group can anyone explain the differences? My understanding is the SSA is the official supporter branch, to my mind surely Sarries On Tour merely weakens this position; although maybe not as they appear to have driven an increase in away support. Certainly Sarries On Tour are very prominent on social media channels.
Could one day we see the two supporter branches merge & therefore surely strengthen their respective positions?
Just curious to everyone’s thoughts? I’m sure we have members of either/both on here so just interested as to how people feel.

More people than ever are following Sarries at away games and that can only be a good thing in my opinion.

+1 much credit due as we have 200 of us together at Sandy Park in March! Tremendous effort

I have used PayPal once before - I bought a surplus ticket from a Quins fan and we hammered them at the Stoop!

The organisers are very visible and approachable. They have no ulterior motive.

So why block supporters of the same club on social media?

The organisers sit with the members. Always.

They probably like the eds on here block any inappropriate behaviour EG player bashing or being disrespectful to other users,
SoT is completely unofficial! It's run by two season ticket holders who yes have a few connections to the club but they do not make any profit from anything they do, the sponsorship of Calum Clark was entirely chosen by it's members who paid collectively for the honour to sponsor a player,
For me it's a great experience and I cannot wait to go to Exeter and sit with Sarries fans, for once at an away game, also looking forward to meeting new people, and because I now live on the Isle of Wight this group is great to see updates on games and how to source tickets for away matches at a better rate than I did it individually
No idea, none of my business if people get blocked.
I'd imagine it's not a decision taken lightly.
