Great if Liam is back this weekend.

Duncan Taylor must be doubtful, 2 HIA's in the last few weeks.

When Schalk Brits is fit the coaches will have to make a call. Schalks flair and speed against the power of Christhopher. CT is now showing how good he is the more game time he gets.

I notice that Sione Vailunu and Nic Stirzaker not yet registered for the Champions Cup.

So who would you choose on the wings Saturday? Maitland still doesnít look back to his best so maybe Williams and Wyles?

Hmmm think I'd start Williams and Wyles. . Williams been out a long time so might need replacing early unless he's been on the Billy fitness programme ;-)

Not for this game - but I'd like to see Alex rest and Liam to have a stint @ fullback

Liam and Maitland for me with Wyles covering everyone on the bench.

I think Loz has a pretty good chance of starting at 13 for this one.

yep Alex can rest for those for sure - i would like to see Liam have a go at full back for us - he did a great job for the Lions , perhaps he could do with some game time in the AW (Sm14)

Great news. Williams and Earles on the wings please. Wyles on the bench.

Like Waldo I'd really like to see Williams at fullback at some stage.

Just rumour, but I have heard Farrell hasnít trained this week ! Had heavy taping at the back of his left calf/knee/lower-hamstring area in the Wasps match & coincidentally he missed the RU Writers Dinner on Monday when he won the main award - resting/rehabbing an injury perhaps ?

Like I said, only rumour & hope heís good to go for Saturday !

No maitland for me in the side when you have Wyles, Williams and Earle at the moment.

I'd personally like to see a team looking like this :

15.Goode
14.Williams
13.Bosch
12.Barritt c
11.Earle
10.Farrell
9. Wigglesworth
8. B Vunipola
7. Wray
6. Rhodes
5. Isiekwe
4. Itoje
3. Koch
2. George
1. M Vunipola

Replacements
16. Tolofua
17. Barrington
18. Figallo
19. Kruis
20. Burger
21. Spencer
22. Lozowski
23. Wyles

For what it's worth, that doesn't include the likes of Maitland, Skelton, Nick Tompkins, Calum Clark, and Duncan Taylor (If fit he probably starts) or the injured Brits

That's one hell of a dilemma for Mark McCall what a team that really is

5. Isiekwe
4. Itoje

19. Kruis

If George is fit he definitely plays for me. Nick has been brilliant this year, but big George is a winner and has been there and done it before.

I agree with Seany Boy.

Everyone should have to earn their place. Right now Kruis needs to earn the start and Isiekwe deserves it IMO. Hopefully giving Kruis a run from the bench would be an ideal way to get him back in his groove.

A few other things that would point to selection of Kruis:

1. Lineout vs AWJ, especially if Tolofua is on the bench.

2. George has looked short on confidence recently, and not surprising. In 6 months he went from the Lions starting lock to out of the England squad. I think a run in the side starting would be better for him.

The other alternative is to bully them with size and play Maro at 6 and move Rhodesey to 7 with Jackson on the bench.

Scrum V Message Board is a mixed bag. Quite a lot of support for us to win now that we have a number of key players available. But others saying that taking Ospreys league position into account, why shouldn't they throw the kitchen sink at it.

I think that Nick deserves his starting place at the moment. GK has, as #wolfpack says, suffered and needs to regain his confidence. IMHO 2 must-win matches are not the right place for that; I could be persuaded that playing GK against Saints is not so risky but I don't agree with playing him against the Ospreys.

I certainly glad that Smally has to make these difficult decisions and not me!

If George Kruis is fit he should play. He is our lineout captain and we have missed that at linout time.

Wingers Liam and Sean for me, Chris on the bench. Experience is crucial in European games.

However whoever the coaches choose is fine because we have a fantastic squad and players not selected will be in unlucky this time.

Nice to have difficult decisions when nearly all our squad are fit

#wolfpack I don't quite get your points. Are you saying we should start him? If so I think both the points you made are actually reasons why he should be on the bench.

Tolofua was excellent and his lineout is improved but its still a work in progress so surely best to have our lineout expert come on/be on at the same time.

If a player is out of form then aren't they better being brought back in slowly rather than dropped in the deep end?

Obviously, just matters of opinion not saying you're wrong and if Kruis does start I shall be delighted for him and hope he has a super game smiling smiley

Agree with viewfromthe22 about Taylor. Good thoughts for him and his test results.

I kind of see your point, but Jackson Wray has been player of the season so far and I believe he has to start this weekend as for the Kruis Isiekwe Itoje Dilemma you could start any combination of them and have any one of them on the bench, not many teams can say they have three world class locks on their team (Isiekwe is on his way to becoming world class) the other option is of course Kruis and Isiekwe with Itoje at 6 and knock Rhodes to bench..m now that would be one hell of a impact replacement

I believe Kruis has been in Australia recently for a family wedding hence why he missed the last two matches. If fit I'd start him over Isiekwe, as he'll be fresher and is a big match player. Isiekwe might also be deselected for a few matches he could otherwise play in to account for this being his first senior season and he is still only 19!

Yeah. Not sure anyone saw that coming! Big vote of confidence for Skelton - I'm sure his brief will be to go flat out for 45 minutes and try and out-bully AWJ.

He's a much better fit alongside that back row than alongside Burger, who's another high-risk high-reward player
