Has been called Into the England team (congratulations) and as there are only 2 scrum halves in the 32 man squad looks like he will be gone for at least this weekend against Newcastle... Ben Spencer is a solid enough replacement, and now time for young Tom Whiteley to step up!

So far 7 Sarries (Farrell, Itoje, Kruis, George, M Vunipola, Wigglesworth and Isiekwe) in the 32 man squad... Maybe Nick Isiekwe to be released again... We will see

The RWC Squad must have three players ready to go in any position. Having put all his No 9 bets on Youngs and Care, EJ must be mighty relieved that he has such an experienced third player to call on. As with Billy and Hughes, two nailed-on options can be too few.

The same can be said of few positions, but another area where EJ has only shown interest in 2 players is hooker. At least he has the Ford / Farrell / Loz option at 10, plenty more or less everywhere else.
