Thanks Phillip - reportis far more entertaining than the match!

The Times also couldn't be bothered to send a reporter to Salford. Why would they? We're only TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!

Excellent report, thanks.

The crashball sucked in the defence, Haley rushed to cover the gap outside Yarde, Sanjay saw this and cut inside. 7 points. Rugby Intelligence!

The second half had its moments, Loz would have scored if the ball hadn’t bounced sideways!

We saw Calum Clark going up the stairs following the match and he looked like he had vbeen in a street fight! I think he has been simply outstanding for us and rarely seems to get much of a mention. We gave him a clap and said "well done!" and he barely had the energy to respond. Continuing down the stairs we met half the team milling around eating fish and chips from polystyrene boxes as no player food had been provided in the corporate bit. What a lovely bunch they were and we left amazed that topline professional players can still have amateur club level treatment. Maybe Saracens management said all the boys were going out on the town that night (as I believe they did) and therefore no food was needed but.....
