As per last week our starting XV looks quite respectable. There is no doubt however that Exeter's bench is in a different league to ours.

I've pulled out of this game too. The friend we were staying with has a cottage in the middle of Exmoor; not the best place to be right now. Also we were driving down so just too many negative factors to risk it. Good luck to those pressing ahead.

The side has an element of papering over the cracks.
Have Exeter got anyone missing at all. Even Slade and Simmonds return.

A losing bonus point might be the best to hope for. Having said that the team have already collected as many points as I was expecting them to get during the 6 nations window. Albeit from different games

I think Mark has written this one off so that Our internationals get another weeks rest so they are ready to compete later in the season. Any points will be a bonus.

George included as he is likely to be a bench player during the next 2 weeks.

Jamie, Wiggy very little game time over the last eight weeks and Faz, Maro and Mako 3 weekends off during that period. All (if no injuries) should be raring to go.

Anyone know what Schalk Burgers injury is?

Broken rib I think?
Be lovely to play against Chiefs with both sides fully fit & rested now & again!!
Anyone else think re Sam Simmonds if it was Billy he壇 be back with England boys this weekend?
Assuming because its now sunday Williams & Maitland not released?

No doubt, Eddie has kept both Hughes and Haskell despite neither being match fit

Williams, the prop.

I have little hope for this one either.

Having seen Exeter on the news tonight in a snow report I would say the rescheduled game on Sunday could possibly still be in jeopardy.

The game will go ahead it's going to be warm over today and tonight and no more snow you never know in rugby and Mark McCall would never write a game off it's not in his nature and it is not the Saracens way

Sean

I may have used the wrong words with saying writing off this match. Maybe he's looking at the bigger picture.

Yes that I appreciate, I also agree in parts to giving your internationals as best rest as possible but given the circumstances and disruptions this could go either way tomorrow

Looking at the two teams anything but a comfortable win for Chiefs would reflect incredibly well on how the Sarries boys played and/or poorly on how Chiefs did.

Their game is even better suited to us kicking possession down their throats all game and not competing at the breakdown so I really hope we have a different plan for Sunday.

Agree OM,but dont hold out much hope of different game plan!
You壇 have thought Jamie George & Wiggy could致e done with a run out & put Williams & Maitland in that team & we offer a threat in backs at least
