Where's the beef?

Paradoxically to lighten the mood, a quick quiz on the three heaviest players to have appeared in the Premiership according to Aviva's stats. Clue: they've all represented Sarries.

Any guesses?

Census Johnson and the Benazzi brothers? Or maybe Skelton?

As I thought, the finest minds are to be found on this board. AP filled in the gap (James) although CQ seemed a reasonable shout. Did the latter ever play a Premiership fixture for us though? For such a big unit, he disappeared pretty smartly.

"Census Johnson and the Benazzi Brothers" - tremendous swing beat combo, I reckon some on here will have a few of their albums.

Pedantry to the rescue! He certainly occupied some of the turf at Vicarage Road, but play for us? Nah! smiling smiley

Biyi Alo a whopping 143kg and the sylph-like runners up, each at 140kg, James Johnston and our very own Will Skelton.

It would be interesting to know the heaviest back, but a converted second row like Ches makes it difficult to establish the criterion for inclusion.

Faz Senior possibly? Mike Ellery was probably the heaviest of the recent crop I guess.

Simon Raiwalui (or timber as he was known - seemed to go down rather easily for a big lad)?
