My first season too. I was there at HQ and the final score was so good I named myself after it!

Ours too. My boss took us as he had a debenture along with his Quins supporting pal - we couldn't have afforded or even got the tickets without his kindness. Season tickets for us after that.

I went with my then 5-year old son in innocent contravention of HQ's ground rules which had a minimum age of 6.

We had both been season ticket holders throughout that season (2 of the 92!) and he learned his 2, 3, 5 and 7 times tables in the 83-8 massacre of Tonga earlier in the season.

I was 17 miles from Graybridge before I was caught by the school leopard

my first season also ... started taking my son aged 3 ... east stand family block season ticket holders following season and for 15 years after until he left for uni . Used to astonish me how even at the age of 5 he could remember the scores from every game he had been to watch the previous season. Still took up hockey rather than rugby as his main sport ... probably scared him witless watching ... haha

That was my 12th season following Sarries. I got 11 mates together and gave the day the full Varsity Match treatment: breakfast in a pub, champagne on the train, and 24 Havanas to be smoked if we won.

Sarries were so dominant in the first half that we lit up at half time. Even though I had bought our tickets through the club, we found a bunch of pests in the row in front of us. They complained, even though smoking was not then prohibited - in reality, it was our glee that offended them!

I have no recollection of the evening winking smiley
