All English words are French words, once you stick a definite or indefinite article in front of them ...

As George Bush Jnr once said

"The reason the French economy is so weak is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur"

Think I saw that Barnes was the guest on rugby tonight for Wednesdays show, surely that shouldn’t be allowed now with people like Healey dissecting how the teams could win the game in front of him therefore potentially influencing him

I’d imagine between his own analysis and experience with the teams as well as his formal reffing meetings with them the effect of Austin would be fairly minimal

Who is this "Wayne Barnes"? It seems strange bringing in a new referee for the final!

Seriously, I can't remember the last time he refereed at AZP.....

Apparently he doesn't like reffing on artificial turf. It's bad for his knees, or was that someone else ;-)

In the first break in play Brad should wander up to Wayne and ask him whether Exeter are off their feet at the ruck sealing off the ball.

I am surprised no referee is looking at this yet, but it seems to me that part of the reason Exeter are so good at retaining possession is that they flop on the ball every ruck (along a remarkable ability not to drop it or knock it on etc for which they deserve credit etc).

Doesn't come close to........

"It's canard".

"You can say that again bruv".

What about us Danes and Jutes and Angles and Saxons, didn't we add any word to the language that became English?

I was saying flippantly that any English word can be made into a French word by this means.

It was widely reported that President George W. Bush said it to Tony Blair at a G8 Summit in July 2002.

However, amusing as it sounds, and as much as I wish it were true, it appears there is unfortunately no credible evidence that Bush actually said it.

I'm sure Wayne Barnes was the Referee for our last final V Exeter? Ah well he's very good and I'm hoping Matt Carley is learning from him as it won't be long before Matt is in charge of the final at Twickenham

I wonder if JP will be one of the Assistant Refs?
