Beer

I realise that this may be a strange request on this message board, however I am hoping to purchase some non-alcoholic beer at Allianz Park this coming Saturday.

I have previously tried most of the bars at AP in vain, any suggestions would be welcome.

If not, I will have to resort to surreptitiously sneaking a can or two in to the ground

Nanny State by Brewdog is my favourite when I'm behind the wheel - you'll be better off smuggling it in!!

One would say the ipa on sale is pretty non-alcholic

Non alcoholic options at sports events and concerts are always an after thought unfortunately. Especially if you don’t want to drink litres of sugar. It’s a shame as there’s a few half decent 0% beers around these days.

Much to my disgust they have done away with Sarries Ale.Only that IPA stuff now.

I was a bit put out too... but I can only assume not enough people were drinking it to make it worthwhile.

The 'craft' beer stall near the South Stand partially made up for it, but more American pale ale vibes... quite fizzy and sweet. Ok though.

Forget the beer - There was no Bovril !

I hope they haven't killed that off too .

No Bovril and the coffee and tea were rank. Its Tki Tonga coffee or a flask next match

I'm fairly sure its the same beer they just badged it as Sarries Ale for the marketing before.

No, the beer they are now serving is not the same as last year, Sarries Ale was Ruddles County relabeled which was a little better.

Weird isn't it -

When we moved to AzP they had a tasting session and a vote and the fans favourite would become Sarries Ale.

And now they have in their infinite wisdom removed it !

Along with (over the last couple of seasons) the Sarries Pies , the cheesy chips , the phone charging point's,the half time drinks pre-ordering, the man of the match presentation and now seemingly the Bovril !

I guess someone views that as progress !

I think it's pretty much the way forward that carries ale disappeared and Sarries later is still going strong

That's the tipple for the Ulster market the club is aiming for
