Surely with England's absences in the back row now is the time to try something different as a plan B for the 6N's and World cup should our big ball carrying 8's not be available , like today.

Step forward Jackson Wray, mobile, tough, good hands and feet. He has to be a better bet than the two put forward by Danny Care and Ugo Monye on BBC rugby from Quins!

Jackson is a winner and a valuable cog in the winning machine that is Sarries!

Often be surprised that he's overlooked but also a bit relieved as he's such an important player to Sarries.

"just" Mako, George, Maro, Kruis, Isiekwe, Wray, Rhodes, Billy, Spencer, Farrell and Lozo to help bail out Jones? At this rate surely the RFU should just pay McCall to run England as a side project?

EJ should go for both Armand and Ewers for his back-row cover

Never really understood the Armand obsession myself. He's fine and looks good in a very powerful Exeter pack - but the way some go on about him every game you'd have thought he was Zinzan Brooke. He is nowhere near the class of the top backrow forwards in the game in my opinion.

Jacko is an excellent player, and probably deserved to have had a go at 6 at some point for England in the last few years. But there is no way he'll get picked by Jones.

Ben Morgan is the closest in style of play to Billy/Hughes so he should get the gig. England should try to aim for as much continuity as possible between now and next September - in terms of style if not personnel.

Good job too. We are stuffed enough when they all disappear. Its hard enough to field a team as it is without us sacrificing any more of them to be Jones Fodder.
