You'd have thought, given they made a profit again this year, that Exeter could afford to buy Jack Nowell a bigger pair of shorts!

A good win by Wasps, looked a bit like Ex were going to run away with it in the first half, but turned out to be a cracking match

Keep possession? check! Attack Exeter Chiefs in the wider channels? check! Keep good discipline to deny them too many lineout mauls? check! Aggressive defence? check!

Hopefully there are things to learn from that performance. Makes the Ricoh game interesting in two weeks. It will be a proper game.

We’ve beaten Chiefs enough times with a full strength and fully fit team to know how to do it. Perhaps you were still a Stains fan and weren’t watching?
