Nah, it's Gatland. Not enough Taff's. And Alan Wyn Jones is nigh on certain to be captain, unless such misfortune as, christ, double leg amputation? Even then, he's probably leading them put on stumps..

I'd be willing to bet good money that - of that XV - the most complaints will come from Scots at the selection of Owen over Finn Russell. Playing Faz at 12 would simply lead to different howls of outrage, as that would mean another Scottish player missing out.

There's a similar exercise in The Times, from four writers with 4 - 6 Saracens in their teams. The comments divide between (1) pointless article (2) not enough Welsh and (3) not enough Scots.

Similar one in Telegraph too, in which Gatland is quoted as saying his most likely captains will be either AWJ or Faz.

Surely AWJ will be over 50 when the next Lions tour takes place

There were several comments after the Champions cup final that part from finding a scrum-half, the combination team of Leinster/Saracens would probably beat any team in the world (All Blacks would be a good contest)

ditto after the Prem final that Eddie should simply blend a team from Saracens & Exeter and England would be the stronger for it.

Great idea, I'd love to see that game. However, Sarries have beaten the Springboks on their own smiling smiley
