Compared to Rolland and JP Doyle he's a wonder ref... still I expect that there will be 30 people on the pitch upstaging him and he'll have to make sure his presence is known with a series of bizarre decisions that stop the flow of the game.
Wayne Barnes is a good referee. He makes fewer mistakes than most, and is consistent in his decisions, in that he referees both teams equally. There are a number of referees in the prem and elsewhere who I'm not fond of, mostly because they seem to favour one side over the other during the course of a match. Whilst WB isn't perfect, I can't claim to have seen a referee who is. He is, IMHO, a great deal better than most.
I am looking forward to a very tense and important game of rugby at the weekend.
