Fat Boy 7's July 21st / 22nd - Just outside Reading anyone up for it?

Kind of hoping that some of the old crew might fancy it - so come on Robinho, Ken Jnr, Boy, Andy R, Crippsy, Redneck etc, how about it?

I could be tempted!

I'm having an elbow operation on 24th April so it all depends how that goes to be honest. It would be good to get all the original 'die hards' together for old times sake!

Have just had a conversation with Rob and we may be keen if we can get the original "just do enough to beat Brizz then first to the bar wins" FB 7's gang back together!

Yep I'm with you Ken.

F**k the rugby, lets go back to the drinking culture of the good old days! Playing seriously is no good, it cost me 4 yellows and a red card in the space of one afternoon!

Perhaps regain the camaraderie with Bristol and re-create THAT rolling maul into the Clubhouse across two pitches with 4 teams and 4 refs guiding the way?

P.S. Do you fink H&S would put a stop to it these days?

Looking like it might have legs this year... Unlike any of us over more than 12 yards.

Who else do we need? Rich and Son? Crispy All Stars? Redneck's brother and friends? Fritz? Boy? Bath Fan et al?

I would describe that as an auto-correct fail, but it's now opened up the chance for a whole host of potato/maize based ringers!

Well, seeing that last year didn't happen for me again, again because of my back, I was hoping to give it one last go this year, before the big x0, so if you want an old man in your midst, I'll try to come along. It clashes with a Sealed Knot event (little event in Winscombe, Somerset), but I'd do the Saturday games, a pint and then shoot back. If that's okay...

Well, not quite x as in Roman X, in that case it would have to be L0, ah, no that would make it 500. Oh dear.

Right, back to the top.

How many bodies are we up to? Enough for a team, or more importantly, enough for a minimum order of some awesome new shirts?

Akuma do indeed do a ladies fit. Once we have an idea of numbers, I'll put up a few designs and we people can vote*

* And I'll then either go with the result of the vote, or over-rule it depending entirely on my whim.

Chevrons to make the shoulders look bigger. Asymmetrical pattern to disguise the shape of the gut. Pretty miluch perfect!

I'm in as long as we don't get put with that Army Vets team again. They were very gentlemanly about handing our backsides to us, but it still hurt!

I think (and of course this is exaggerating) that the Army Vets were banned for taking it far too seriously!

Anyone under the mistaken illusion that they were something to do with looking after mascots or horses can forget it. They were all serving PE instructors of a certain age!
