It wasn't a great game to watch, we were in front for 65 mins.

Which of those two statements is false?

I was seeking to explain why Quins fans might have been down on the match.

They probably expected to beat us more convincingly. I expected them to beat us more convncingly. If they want to get rid of Evans, we've got an All-Black 10 we could swap for him.

What they must relies they have very little chance on winning the play off.

They have a better chance than us.

I was waiting for that negative post about us but of the four teams in it they have very little chance,is that better.

Watching the game on tv now I relies why I didn't think Nick Easter was playing live,he must have a contract with Just for Men,he's gone from Grey to jet black hair.

We were rubbish for a fair bit of the match and we Quins fans haven't got the 'a win's a win' mentality yet. We expect to be entertained.

I despair with some of the Quins fans at the moment. I have loved this season and always love it when Bath come to Quins, bath are always a great bunch of fans! Its a shame that these games seem to always be in the season when we are both off form!

The draw last season was just horrible rugby.

Good luck for the rest of the season!

Wow ballsout, I hope you're not one of these people who doesn't know why the standard of debate on this site had gone down hill? You've produced a wonderfully terse example.

absolutely.
I think the "fair" result would have been a LBP for Bath, probably about a 5 point difference.
Absence of yellow card would probably have put "fair" at more-or-less a draw

I think it would more appropriately be directed at Geek? There's no equivocation on that score. Geek is much more interested sitting around in the committee's poring over the difficult choices as to who to anoint as the next head honcho for England rather than attending to the rickety structure he's fomented at the Farleigh House glee club.

IMHO!

There's a very nice thread on the Quins board about Bath fans, I think all should read it. As I've commented, I found yesterday a thoroughly enjoyable day, despite the result. The Stoop is a great ground, just wish the stand were closer to the pitch. Quins fans were very friendly too, the traditional hand-shake with them at the end of the game - I almost felt like I'd just played!

We started the season on storming form (ignore all the stuff about other rivals at the top missing players, so where we).

We have dropped off a bit, but the Premiership is tight, and all of this is on narrow margins, as Bath supporters will know. Last year we lost far too many by narrow margins, this year we have tipped them the other way.

It is not surprising some fans are being negative.

I've only heard three complaints about bath fans:
1. My one about unrestrained kids (but this wasn't all Bath fans.
2. One about oversized flags blocking somebody's view.
3. One gobby fan behind somebody.

All small fry, overall a great bunch of fans, and we should be far more upbeat than we are.

The only fair result from yesterday was if neither team came away with anything. Both sides were terrible. If I were a Quins supporter I'd have been very annoyed that they couldn't stick 20 on a poor side.

I don't think either team were terrible, I just think both teams were immense in defence.

I'd almost agree with this - both sides did defend very well, the main difference being the try. I think if we'd had an on-form Banahan to take some crash ball, we may have caused them a few more problems, but who knows? I still believe we're sorely in need of an attack coach. Most of our best work this season has come from heads-up rugby on turnover ball.

And this is exactly the kind of comment that deters people from posting on ERE, let alone wanting to help moderate it. Whatever the intent, it does come across as unnecessarily hostile.
