Always worry when someone says they're friends with someone

A.M. we are to assume therefore that you have no friends.

Good interview I thought -
a. lack of calibre
b. no fear of being dropped

As you say Geech is his freind and he finds no fault with Geech's tenure at Bath...hmmm

May be interesting what comes out after this season is over.

In one breath he says Bath haven't the calibre of player but then goes on to highlight Exeter who have no stars.

I can never fathom Gussie out. He seems to say what he thinks the listener doesn't want to hear.

A contradictory interview from a pundit I don't rate.

One of the world's best players, but not a good analyst IMO.

also front row not good enough

thought guscott was spot on

new head, foward, and backs coach, needs a good clear out

He seems to have it spot on, nothing up front to concern decent teams, for me that's where all our problems start.

Is he trying to blame Bruce Craig?

He states a few truisms - but fails to nail SIMs significant role in this car-crash season which is obvious ( I guess he want's to stay on his Christmas Card list)

Broadly speaking I agree, although I feel he slightly rubbished SIM's tool box more than the man's decisions. I think the players are a little better than that and I base this on their previous performances (either at Bath or other clubs). Nor do I think some of the other teams have particularly great players. The AV is a rubbish league to watch skills wise.

We do need to be a lot harder though and need a coaching set up that can get the best out of players, but make then fearful for their position.

They won't be fearful for their positions while we only have enough fit players to barely put out a 23.

WT's injury thread start page suggests we have over 30 first teamers available if you count Tommy, KPN, Josh and Chris Cook

We couldn't drop Banners and Olly when they patently needed it because there was no one to take their place.

Definite dig at Bruce and Nick at the end to let the new coach do his job and they do their jobs!
