That's the scenario for next season.
Can' help but feel that is something of fairytales!
How must their supporters feel about that?

As long as Bris win the Championship (I think) or no relegation?

Though more importantly in context of this thread, well done to Jersey on promotion

Did I read somewhere that promotion could be a problem for them because in the Championship they no longer get the travel subsidy?

Even a 2nd rate "Anorak" like me knows that is not a problem for Jersey's Corporate backers - they might end up playing at St Mary's or Fratton, but watch the them mount a full frontal attack on Prem Status over the next 2/3 years - and there is plenty of demand in Hants/S.Dorset.
Keep up Stu - I was having a beer with a Clifton 1st teamer who told me that Jersey players pick up 500+ per week! For this season there will also be an impressive bonus!
(Wage cap starts where?)

I think London Welsh would be allowed up.

There's not many clubs in the Championship who wouldn't ground share if they won promotion.
How long before they try and sign the Jersey juggernaut.

London Welsh will use Brentford but are struggling on the primacy of tenure requirement.

What Guernsey's sister isle has achieved is impressive indeed. I don't know the details of the funding but they clearly have plenty because they have, as I understand it, imported a good many Antipodeans and even a massive Tongan centre with a lot of hair. I haven't been to their ground for about 3 years but it was a very poor viewing experience then. I fancy there's still a lot to do but they have laid very good foundations with a fine extensive academy. Worth noting that over 2% of the Jersey population goes to see their home games. Only a few years ago (2005 to 2008 I think) Guernsey beat them 3 years in 4 in the annual Siam Cup (Rugby's oldest competitive cup appparently), but despite Guernsey's winning their last 18 matches in a row to win London South 1, I'm expecting a heavy loss next Saturday if Jersey send even half their first team. And just think what a fun away trip that could be for Bath one day (and much cheaper for me than my trips to Bath)!

I would imaginE that their home record has been good this season as most clubs would find it hard not to treat the game as an away day jolly. They like Esher, will find the Championship slighty tougher and as yet have not recruited anywhere near enough quality to stay, a little like Bristol.

1st rate anorak, Bod.

The RFU pays the travel of teams visiting Jersey as well, but not in the Championship.

It's to be Newcastle.
What must that feel like to a Falcon's supporter?

But lucky Wasps, only Newcastle last year have suffered 16 or more defeats and not been relegated.
