They can't do their sums however! Our overall passion score is in fact 129 - which puts us above Sale - so there!(Sm7)

If they'd measure the heart rates etc while people were reading their club's supporters message boards we'd have walked it.

based on home ground noise.. With open stands the noise levels won't be the same as somewhere like the shed.. Away from home bath fans are as passionate as any supporters..

Or perhaps Glaws are most unhealthy fans with those fast heart rates. And the hairy backs account for the raised testosterone levels (Sm160)

Surely this whole study depends on WHICH section of each fan base are wired & tested....Terraces v Hampton stand? surely a completely different set of results would be produced?

If they don't like your opinion, so what! It's your opinion, not theirs.

Just wondered what the expected outcome is of this "experiment"? What was it all for? All good and relevant purposes i suppose as i assume there was an associated cost?

Cheers,

pubtime...it was in the main stand at Gloucester, front row seats with set number of fans from both sides next to each other...not in the shed

I was on our "team" at castle grim for this thing, so sorry for not bursting sufficient blood vessels and generally not bawling and shouting enough for the cause.

The Glos fans were quiet enough during the first half hour or so when, as Matty C put it, "we were all over them"; the fans on the winning side were always going to get most worked up.

I'm guessing the real point was to measure the reaction of people during games. The "most passionate fan" bit was just a PR ruse to get volunteers, but the free shirt and ticket were enough for me.

Do females double their testosterone levels ......I blooming well doubt it .
They must have picked all male subjects then , that probably skews the results and is possibly a bit of a flaw seeing the number of females at an average game.

Publish it in the Lancet
