Another SIM quote

Surprised no-one's posted this from the Telegraph:

Quote:
As he dried out in front of the roaring log fire at Bath’s Farleigh House headquarters this week, after another rain-lashed training session, he happily reviewed his long involvement at the sharp end. “I wasn’t meant to be here but we were a coach short when Steve Meehan left,” he smiles. “I’ve tried to be more of a sounding board and work one-on-one with players rather than the driving force, like I did at Northampton and Wasps.

Frankly, he's become a bit of a clown.

I did read the DT piece. Thought the gist of was since the 1980s we've gone a long way towards turning the game into rugby league.

Yes he wasn't meant to be there but what I would like to know is why didn't he replace Meehan at the time? Was that his decision or NB/BC?

There was an interesting comment under the article questioning why every other coach gets held to account by the media but somehow they all fawn over SIM like some kind of guru who can do no wrong!

I wonder if we will ever know what's really gone on.
I suspect SIM may put do a book, but equally he may choose to forget the whole sorry episode as we will.

As a Scot I would welcome Geech's arrival at Twickenham. He was a shite Director of Rugby for us, so hopefully he could do the same for England and snooker you lot even more than the likes of Andrew has."

Maybe that's why he recommended Lancaster ahead of Mallett!

He really is a piece of work. The gall of the man is utterly shocking. Come 4pm today I will be a much much happier Bath fan, even if we get thrashed today!

I think the book that NB and BC write would be more interesting!

If we end up with Brad AND Ford next season, I'll struggle to believe ANY lessons have been learned at all.

Folks it's the last game of the season...

I'm an g
Hour away from the ground to watch our last match of the season. Let's look forward to the game against Leicester, win lose or draw.

Sim is leaving. Thank goodness Brad is staying. All the other rumours are just that rumours.

Let's send the right message at the right time to the team TODAY...coz it is about playing matches and not just sitting on our backsides being armchair critics

Got something to say then let's watch the game and criticise to your hearts content...during the game lets cheer the boys to the Welford road rafters

Rugby's answer to Billy Graham - WTF !

Nobody is slating the team or suggesting we will not be cheering the BB&W on. Your preaching style is something to behold!

Well Susanne, if he's interested in the whole Bath Rugby "community" he's got a funny way of showing it. Another intolerant member of the glee club obviously
