kitchen gossip is so last year, however I was more shocked as to the player and to the extent to which he was the riot act.

I notice that you too are also only a recent recruit to this site. It would be great to believe that future contributions are going to be more challenging, insightful and fresh than regurgitating a subject that has caused enough strife for everyone.

Have you elected yourself as the social conscience of ere? Remind me, how long have you been contributing?
What a load of pompous claptrap!

ouch...someone has a view not agreed with...and the next the personal insults start flying hmm interesting...
Lets enjoy the Fans Forum next week. Lets see if you turn up and lets see what happens as in the previous Fans Forums...or are you going to rush back to the key board and start calling everyone pompous, who turns up ...or worse still.
If one has got something to say ...well let those say it in person

The games this season, and most of last, we never seemed to have a 'Plan B' never mind a 'Plan C'.
If the scrum isn't performing well what do we need to do to minimise the impact? or
When we get the ball - what needs to change to avoid crabbing across the pitch until we eventually knock-on?
I feel this should be 80% coaching pre-match and 20% tweaking on the field as the game pans out - but we don't seem to be anywhere near being able to do this.
Resolving the above is my biggest hope for next season.

This season has been a major disappointment to me, partly because I expected more of SIM. That he has not wrought magic, or that he "lost" the dressing room is a further disappointment and a bit of a surprise, but I fail to see how it is worth personal abuse.
I am sure we are all passionate about our club or we would not bother to post, but we are onlookers (however involved and committed). The practitioners are the coaches and players - who do their job in a very public and unforgiving environment. They feel it deeply when they get it wrong - as Belly's recent revelations show.
Personal abuse in title threads does reputation of Bath supporters no favours.

Can't make Tuesday unfortunately. I like the stance you are taking Fairshout. Look forward to a report of the Fans Forum.
Think we might have a few more posters if some people toned down their comments about other posters.
Don't see the need to be rude to others

If you want to see fewer players in the bar, at United games on the terrace and avoiding fans conversations, carry on posting abuse.
If you want a return to a family feel about the place, don't grab your smart phone 2 minutes after a narrow defeat and perhaps post an angry, beer fuelled message you might regret.

It appears that a few of the keyboard warriors here don't enjoy being asked to look at their behaivour and attitudes....
Keep posting Fair Shout....

I hardly drink, I don't post from a smart phone, but what I do do is take the wee wee out of some of the po faced and sanctimonious postings. If we are now so righteous that that isn't allowed along with any hint of criticism or dissatisfaction, however expressed, then it's a poor place we are in. If you feel the need to take the mickey out of me, fire away, I don't think that shows lack of respect, nor will I get upset about it although I may well respond.

Bri...what a heartfelt, personal and sincere post
Like you I have seen Charlie's wife at home matches, away and with their very young toddler and baby at Captain's Training days.
I also have found them humble, real and happy to be at a rugby club like Bath. Mrs Beech is a rugby woman. Yes her father is SIM which means she has been raised on rugby since she was born. That also means she has seen no doubt the good the bad and the ugly within rugby...I hope that Bath for her will become "The Good"
I believe that with ball in hand, CB is dynamic and I for one would not fancy standing in his way! At Sixways he was a man on a mission, scored his first try for the club and was he happy...no because we lost in a shocking manner on a miserable Friday night...thats right he is a team player.
Regardless of the lack of success and impact that SIM has had at the club, I wish him well and hope that CB and Mrs CB will see this as an opportunity to not be associated with the DOR and shine as people and for CB on the pitch...
