Stuff and Nonsense
17 May, 2017 17:16
London Irish play Yorkshire Carnegie tonight in the first leg of their Championship playoff.
The other Madejski team Reading FC are also up for promotion in Football's Championship playoff final.

Is there a symbiotic effect going on for these ground share teams or is it just coincidence?

Bristol and Bristol City were also in a similar partnership but but trying to go the other way (the opposite of symbiosis), but in the end City decided not to cooperate!

Does sharing a ground have any impact on the partners regarding morale and ambition?

Yes, you're right this is just end of season rubbish!

Wouldn't have said B City and Bris were 'trying' to go in opposite directions. Just depends how good either the attention of the man at the top ( Bris) or the quality of the infrastructure of each team (LI/RFC).

Happily talk rubbish though . . .

There has been a pattern over the years of football teams being relegated after moving to a new stadium. Maybe coincidence, maybe not.

Fortunately West Ham just managed to avoid that despite having almost as many injuries as Bath Rugby (Sm60)
