Interesting assessment thank you PGT. Iím more worried now Iíve heard theyíve won 3 from 6 in the Pro 14 & have a number of notable players in their ranks, though none of the names are familiar to me. Hopefully the banana skin wonít be too slippery & the Lewis/Clarke axis will function adequately.

The preview from Sunday's Rugby Paper had this one down as a Bath win with which I agree, they also suggested we would finish 3rd in the group behind Toulon and Scarlets. A try every 20mins shouldn't be beyond our team and I look forward to seeing Lewis as #10 who impressed me when he played in the first A League match v Sarries. The weather forecast is dry so I hope for an open game and a 5pt outcome...

Benetton will be no push over, so resting Faletau would be a big call.

Thatís a disappointing assessment. I thought we might at least make 2nd playersí fitness permitting.

BH - All is not lost, the i paper review of the pools has Scarlets 1 and Bath 2 and both make the KO stage. They suggest the presence of Treviso in the group offers others in the pool 9-10pts each which will mean a high scoring 2nd place leading to qualification. They also suggest Toulon are not the force of 2-3yr ago. I hope they are right and we recover from our injury crisis to challenge for a Top4 place in the AP and make a good fist of the EU KO stages in the New Year...
