Mercer unfortunately butchered a 2on1 and we should have scored a few more... but Gloucester are defending well and hibbard especially is great. JJ is getting a lot of ball, though and if it does open up we will clean up on aisle 4 I reckon!

Seething with that. Absolutely seething. The halfbacks just did not control the game. Watson was out of it, JJ and Clark kept persisting with the useless grabbers through. The forwards defended well, but we were so @#$%& flat on the attack and we did nothing to challenge the goddamn small ten who was playing full back when we had banahan, Roko and Watson all on the pitch. Just such an awful performance and undone by stupidity. Glaws deserved the win, but they did not play well. I cannot believe that, I really can't. After the tactical master class in Llanelli we played it like a Colts rugby game. sh*te.

Why were we persisting in sending Clarke up the middle for very little gain?
Why weren't we pushing the ball intio the corners and applying pressure?
Why are Bath utterly unable to play patient keep ball when required?

It wasn't just the decision making at the end.

Why did Priestland take that long kick at goal?
Kick for the corner and play in their territory.
Instead he misses, and we end up playing in our half.

If Cook or even Allison had played like Kahn today theyíd have been yanked off by half time. He has plenty in the bank but that was very ordinary. And why on earth couldnít Rhys just drop back a few yards and pump the corners like a wise old game manager? Our midfield just ran into brick walls all afternoon. All very disappointing - but fair play to Glos - they really played for the shirt today. Heinz was exceptional, and 12T and Pursy worked their socks off.

Very strange that we suddenly start playing huge numbers of phases in the middle third after six games of kicking and chasing quite effectively. We just weren't breaking the gain line and ran out of ideas. Both half backs looked impotent.
Fair play to Gloucester in defence - they made huge hits.
A rubbish performance from all, apart from a few like faletau, dunn and rocko.

Yet again some individual talent this time from Faletau and Roko carry us through games. We're lightyears behind the likes of Sarries and Exeter who play as a cohesive team.

Why didn't Stooke start along side Charteris? Ewells play showed no aggression and as for leadership, God knows what Eddie Jones sees in him. Put him in the gym and get him to put on some muscle, then spend time with a real second row like Danny G to teach him how to use his power.

Stooke showed he was prepared to mix it, along with Dunn. Most of the rest of the pack were not up for the fight or physicality. How people think we are going to win without at least matching the opposition is beyond me, and all the other Prem sides know we don't appear to enjoy mixing it.

Forget attack coach, we need a forwards coach like John Humphreys to put some steel in our forwards.

I can't disagree with this. Our gameplan is fantastic for stormy weather or risky teams. If a team holds the ball and doesn't make an error, we squeak through or lose.

It's a minor complaint in the scheme of things but Kahn needs to learn to improvise when the ref says use it. Structures are great-and-all but no use if you give the ball away...

Fully agree with that last comment. When the ref said use it, Kahn left the ball and the maul just walked off the pitch i nearly gave myself a concussion. It was there! Right infront of him. He is such a good player, I cannot fathom what went wrong today, same with Rhys the god of game management - I could have managed that game better even if you'd taped my elbows to my balls, they had a small fly half playing full back who got injured early on. We had Banners and Roko and Watson and Faletau. Duh? There's rectifying the possession stats and there's being downright @#$%& thick. We were the latter. For gods sake we need to get some sort of attacking structure. And I hate to agree re: ewels but I do; I Just can't see what he brings the team when compared to stooke or Garvey or Atwood or charteris. Roll on flouw. I am not writing off the season - we beat Chiefs in extra time in their back garden last season - sport is unpredictable, but we really do need to work something out. Sooner rather than later.

we beat Chiefs in extra time in their back garden last season - sport is unpredictable, but we really do need to work something out. Sooner rather than later.

And Chiefs responded to that heartbreaking last minute loss by going on an unbeaten run for god knows how long, and winning the Premiership.

I'm not holding my breath we'll respond in a similar fashion.

We had something like 34s to go and all we had to do was keep the ball. Why on earth didn't the forwards just stick the ball up the jumper and hold on to it? Brainless.

As for going on a long unbeaten run, absolutely no chance with our home form and constant poor decision making.

On the plus side there will be a plenty of happy sisters this evening. They may even shave their knuckles in celebration...

Bit of a pathetic comment. Sore loser?

Not as sore as yo mamma 🙃

Enjoy your return to school today mate, week off for half term obviously gone to your head. Tell me, how long before you start big school?

In case you are an 'adult', then may be you need to grow up a little.

Like I said, pathetic.
