Roko injured at England training??
03 November, 2017 13:10
Does anyone know more about this?

"Adding to the concern are the minor Achilles and thigh problems sustained by Denny Solomona and Semesa Rokoduguni."

The last para taken from the Sky sports story about Yarde, below

I hope not. Sounds minor if nothing else. Was one hoping he'd get some gametime for England and then come back to us full of even more confidence and score a billion tries haha!

But seriously looking ahead to the back to back games with Toulon I would not be happy if he was crocked for them!

Are players injured more regularly at England training than expected? Is this normal? It seems a fair rate under E. Jones. Is that par for the course in you guys experiences?

I probably don't know what i'm talking about.

Get the impression that England don't take enough care of player welfare.

He was reported as arriving at camp with a dead leg from Glos game, so suspect itís referring to this.

Hope so Shadders. Roko is our main (only at present) real threat in attack. We need him more than England but I sincerely hope he shines and wins a regular international starting place.

Roko is indestructible but every time England get hold of him they break him

He is head and shoulders above the others, but I think you're being harsh on the likes of Faletau, JJ and Tapuai who have all shown (among others) good attacking prowess this season.

Shadder's: correct, dead leg suffered playing for Bath

Danchino: more injuries all over rugby recently, though we also "know" that Eddie doesn't rate the conditioning of the players when he gets his hands on them, and favours pretty brutal camps

Pleased to see Roko retained and Solomona returned by England for this weekend. I hope he makes the match day squad at the weekend...

The main thing for me is that he comes back fit & raring to go, retains the same brilliance in attack & is more confident in defence, not crocked & disillusioned.
