Same team as last week, with Homer at FB, and possibly rest / not risk Garvey?

We don't want Garvey injured for sure, but we don't want him undercooked either. I'd give him 50 minutes. He's Club captain, and the younger players will benefit a lot from his presence.

+1

Garvie's leadership is essential to steady the ship.

I'd rather see him captaining than Ewells, who should also be available.

Dead right Boldngrey. Ewells has not been a good captain in Garvey's absence and needs to concentrate on his game and finding some form. This weekend is an ideal opportunity to do just that.

What has Ewells done to you to warrant constant criticism, reversed into your car?

He's a promising young player who is doing pretty well.

That's not what I said.

Ewells IS a good Captain, very young with room to improve.

Garvie is a better captain at the moment and I would prefer him to lead the team tomorrow..

Wasn’t it Ewels’s awareness and communication with the referee (reminding him that the penalties were for different offences) that prevented a penalty try being awarded against Benetton?

Re Ewels and Garvey - slightly different types of captaincy IMHO.

Garvey certainly has the edge in experience and sheer instinctive example. Ewels' potential is high though - he is highly rated by Eddie.
