Toulon Game
09 December, 2017 14:59
After some early exchanges of physicality Bath go in front with a penalty from the boot of Priestland.

Radradra the culprit after standing up after the tackle was completed.

Really, an interception pass five metres out when a try was on they end up scoring from, a great turnover wasted by not making touch with the clearance, which they do score from, a penalty in their 22 in the last few minutes not making touch, and a series of painfully inept pick and gos that was always going to be turned over...? Sorry, that's panic and throwing the game away.

Barely touched the ball in the second half as always, but at least looked threatening in the fleeting moments when our basics don't evaporate and we put pace on the ball.

Wow, that is pretty negative. I thought that the players really worked their socks off and looked dangerous in attack. They also didnít kick the ball away. OK we didnít beat Toulon in their backyard and had a couple of brainfarts (about as many as them) but we gave it a bluddy good go IMO. Massive improvement over last week leaves me optimistic.

If some are being called "appeasers", there needs to be a nickname who refuse to be anything but negative in defeat and even victory often. Well played Bath, encouraging stuff.
