Dooley will certainly know what's what with regards to foul play! Also Brian Campsall being the assessor. I wonder if Neil Back is about and wants to push him over again?

Ian Tempest has risen very quickly and IIRR has had a European game an international or two on his CV. He doesn't appear to be the greatest communicator but is getting better with more experience. Lets hope he has a good day at the A J Bell!

Got that wrong then, thought the thread was about rugby officials being involved in a bribery scandal! (Sm54)

I thought that it was another late Christmas present offer - having Wade Dooley around to carve the turkey has to be better than a book about Exeters title success?

Must admit I thought it was accusations of corruption too-LOL!

BoB - was it really Brian Campbell? my memory has Steve Lander getting the "hands of Back" treatment.

Yep Steve Lander not Brian Campsall who at that time was probably starting the reffing game!

Got it wrong guys. Still Campsall was a decent referee.

I have fond memories of standing at the bar with him and talking through how he arrived at decisions. No chest poking as he would even admit a mistake or two. Liked a few pints did Brian!
