O/T The earth trembled in Wiltshire this p.m.
17 February, 2018 15:35
Sitting at my desk I suddenly felt the desk vibrating for a couple of seconds at 2.30 this afternoon. Dogs started barking outside. Very weird feeling!

Melksham, so close but this wasn't the army who we can hear when they do firing practice. It seems the tremor was around 4.6 on the Richter scale. Hearing that it was felt in S. Wales, speculation is that it is due to stamping of feet at the result last weekend!

Definitely felt it in Newport South Wales. Apparently epicentre was near Swansea.

I dropped a bag of shopping in Melksham Sainsburys about then, don't think it was that though (other supermarkets are available).

In other news, Lizzie Yarnold won the gold, Glaws lost and the weather was nice, so not a bad day despite last nights little set back.

And Attwood scored 3 tries and was MoM at Toulon.

[www.bbc.co.uk] Says Ashton on the Beeb: or should there have been a 'tongue-in-cheek' smiley there?
