Bath coach stuck in snow?
02 March, 2018 11:28
Reported that Twitter is saying your coach is stuck on the A46. Cunning plan by Quins to ensure we might have a chance of losing by less than 20 points if you don't turn up for the match

The way we have been playing, I am surprised to here that we have a coach. I hope he gets out soon.

I wonder if that's this: [twitter.com]

Recovery is taking place on #A46 however weather conditions are making this a slow process. There are also ploughs on route to clear the settles snow. Carriageway currently closed in both directions between the #A4 and the #M4.

if they are stuck then the person in charge of the travel today is a bloody idiot as the blockage at the top of the A46 has been on all the travel bulletins since first thing this morning!
Unbelievable stupidity

Is this the head coach, (in which case it is fake news) or the defence coach who isn't here yet? If it's the mind coach it's easy, he should just see himself driving out of it!

Chris Cook's Instagram seems to give the impression that they're very much on the move.

So we should hold off on shouting 'unbelievable stupidity' at something that doesn't seem to be true. Or, of course, you can carry on if you wish.

Men in chequered shirts seen shovelling snow onto the road....
I suppose with trains affected this was the only option, try the roads and see if they can get there. Or maybe they saw Eddies experience on trains...
Personally I think they should call it off, stuff the TV.
Hope they don't have to push the bus, bound to get injured.

Vuna's instagram story 40 minutes ago would suggest it's looking somewhat troublesome...

Having said that, what with all trains after 8 pm being cancelled, I'd be amazed if the game actually goes ahead, despite Harlequins' best efforts.

Update from Quins:

A pitch inspection is due to take place within the next hour, we will provide an update once that inspection has taken place. The match is still scheduled to go ahead.

Could they have a couple of games on the different BT sport channels so we can pick and choose? They have already paid for them after all - assume they would have got the cameras on site etc?

Actually 3 on the same day, all at roughly the same time.

Although we're on BT Sport X2, whatever that is. I have a worrying feeling that won't be available on Virgin...

Iíve heard from Virgin Media this am and the red button isnít available through the app. Youíve got to press the red button when watching BT Sport 2HD to access on a Virgin Box

I'm an app only user so am keenly interested in this. Happily, this page implies all four of this weekend's games will be available via the app and streaming on the website:

All four matches will also be available for live streaming on BTSport.com and the BT Sport app.

A46 still closed southbound at roundabout with A420. Toghill also closed. This was at 6pm today. Not sure why? Drifting snow not cleared?
