Bath Rugby team to face Saracens:

15. James Wilson
14. Matt Banahan
13. Jonathan Joseph
12. Ben Tapuai
11. Aled Brew
10. Rhys Priestland
9. Kahn Fotuali’i
1. Beno Obano
2. Tom Dunn
3. Shaun Knight
4. Charlie Ewels (C)
5. Elliott Stooke
6. Tom Ellis
7. Francois Louw
8. Taulupe Faletau

Replacements:

17. Lucas Noguera
18. Victor Delmas
19. James Phillips
20. Paul Grant
21. Max Green
22. Freddie Burns

It says something when we can only be bothered to post the teams at nearly 12:30!

Only change is that Tom Ellis comes in for the injured Matt Garvey at blindside flanker, with Charlie Ewels wearing captain’s armband.

Exactly the same team. Presumably they will adopt an entirely different game plan having learnt important lessons from last Saturday! If so it will be the first time this season.

Oooof! I’ll watch for the comedy value on Sunday, it’s got to that point. Mind you, with barely anything to play for, we’ll front up, you watch.

Nearly half an hour before someone put the teams up perhaps says how jaded everyone is with this season.

I'm sure they won;t have noticed our scrum deficiencies.
I was beginning to feel guilty about not having much interest anymore - used to be waiting for team yo be posted, now it's more of - ah well, another defeat.
I can understand not adding our returnees into this game (Clarke/Perenise) give them an extra few days before Glaws

Maybe we'll have finally learned lessons from the previous 19 rounds of Premiership rugby. I won't hold my breath and fully expect us to barely touch the ball and barely put any pressure on the opposition.

It's also sad seeing how near to full strength teams like Sarries, Exeter and Tigers are this time of the season. What a luxury

Clark seems to have been dropped rather than rested? That will be 3 'A' games in a row.

Looking forward to seeing how TBC* goes.

The reason for the delay is that the team we put out is no longer that relevant to the outcome of the game. In fact we have reached such a level of consistency that we could change the entire team with no appreciable difference

Doesn't matter who we put out it wouldn't change the result.

6 of their bench would probably start for us. Long day at the office awaits. Bath by 3.

Skybet has Sarries by 17. Exeter has put a full strength side out against Irish and Skybet has Exe by 12...its a worry when you are more likely to lose than the top against bottom (home advantage I assume).

Could be based on current form.

This could actually be a 30-point hammering if they play OK.

Well obviously, but I would expect Exe to beat Irish by more than 12 tbh.

We have lost games we expected to win and won games we expected lose. It wouldn't surprise me if we were in the game until the last quarter, very much as last week.

We won't win without a change of plan but now the pressure is nearly off, you never know...

The missing apostrophe in the thread title, lack of capitalisation, this would not happen in a successful season...

My regular Bath by 16-20 bet is 40-1 - a record I think.

What would you give for someone like Martin Castrogiavanni?
Just cos you gotta start somewhere.

It’s certainly a possibility considering form. Might chuck a fiver on a mad Bath win at TCM’s odds though.

Why don’t we ever try and jackal anymore? Make the tackle and stand off to allow them to recycle.
