I disagree Stuart no one has ever explained why historical information that might show a flaw in the climatologist climate models is ignored or why long term cyclical effects aren't considered and why the temp fluctuates yet CO2 keeps rising, the climate models are based upon too small a range of results. Tewksbury Abbey flooded a few years back but it did in the 1740s and a University project has found other "Coincidences" between recent weather and the 1740/50s this is now getting extra funding but no headlines.
WHat I hate about the Climate debate is it reminds me of the Immigration debate or lack of from Tony Bliars gov if you questioned their Immigration policy you were a racist, if you question the Man Made Global Warming Evidence you're a sceptic, why can't you be allowed to believe in climate change just not subscribe completely to mans role in the driving of it.
A Climatologist claimed that we'd be flooded when the sea ice melted, Archiamedes and other basic science proved this wasn't the case some time before, I just wish they would apply the scientific evidence we have to their climate models which have been inaccurate over the last decade or so. EVen the land Ice melting thought it would increase sea level is being questioned by some Tectonic experts as the reduction in weight of 3 mile thick ice in Antarctica would greatly reduce the pressure on that continents plate would would have an effect on all the surrounding plates and thus the Ocean.
The Increase in SOlar radiation absorption by the earth was at a peak in ther early 2000's yet this isn't a concideration which I find shocking as I was under the impression that it was the biggest source of heat in our Solar system and thus effects our climate.
