Tewkesbury - today's peak is supposed to be about the same as the peak in 2007, in which case I'll have to lift everything electrical off the floor

I suppose that there will be those that argue that it's not due to global warming but something out of the ordinary is certainly happening ...

Less than two years ago.

We always think what's happening now is the new pattern going forward.

It's obviously serious now as Cameron's broken out his pointing at stuff pose with added 'clothes that are normally worn by someone who actually does something rather than just talk alot for a living' wearing.

http://images.dailystar-uk.co.uk/dynamic/1/photos/904000/620x/David_Cameron_Prime_Minister_flooding_disaster_zones-364913.jpg

and his hand on chin 'I better make it look like I'm listening to whatever this person is talking about' pose.

All part of his pretending he's doing something about stuff is far more important than doing stuff about stuff PR approach.

Still, while actually spending time with normal people is irritating, at least it means he doesn't have to try and explain climate change (memorize and repeat what his aid wrote for him) to the environment secretary and the other Tories who decide what they think about science based on whichever company is giving them 'donations'.
