Game night drinking hole

Hello! I'm a ST holder with London Irish but keep reading anyway. 28 Feb me & my better half will be in your neck of the woods as part of her 50th birthday celebration (don't tell her I told you her age). Now I've strongly recommended that we watch your boys play Sorries that evening but she won't have it - "it's always too cold" - same reason she doesn't come with me to the Madstad. However, she is a lover of the 'Après Ski' so, can someone please advise the best pub to go to pre-game so at least we can sample the pre-game atmosphere? Thank you.
Ps good to see you back at the top end of the table where you belong. Hoping we may be able to join you sometime in the not too distant future.

Welcome A1 - I would recommend either The Royal Oak or The Rising Sun but you can chose from this list if you prefer. BW for an enjoyable evening..

A1 - where you are sitting should influence your choice between the Oak and the Sun. Your ticket will tell you which entrance to use and the Oak is better if you have to enter at the sports centre end, the Sun if you enter at the clubhouse end of the ground.

Clarkey. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately we won't be at the game, she won't have it. So I'll try one or both. Good luck, hope your boys get the result.

Bad luck A1 - for some reason my wife gets funny if I suggest a weekend away that happens to include a game nearby however, we [x8] will be at the Oirish game for the St Patricks weekend 22/3 and are looking forward to it...
