Injuries Update

Good news that players are returning to training - but I wonder if those mentioned would find their way into the match day squad given recent form.

Having said that, all depends of course on further injuries to the current squad not being incurred.

Think JA would be bench to Hougaard, ahead of LB, CSW may be a struggle, and I think Dean will get ahead of Perry for Wing berth or a bench place, considering how Josh has played. Josh has the interchange capability with CP though.

Don't forget that CSW was immense before getting injured at Bristol.

He'll replace Cavubati for me once he's match fit. Whether that will be this season remains to be seen though.

how many consecutive games has CSW played in the last 2 years ? it cant be many. One of those who just seems to be prone to injury despite of (or because of) his formidable frame. Every time he is declared fit I straight away think for how long !

I just have that feeling DH, his body is huge, muscular and strong but "seems" prone to injuries..

If this is not the case, which I hope, then he will be an asset.

CSW has been very unlucky, especially as it's not the same injury but seemingly new ones each time. Fingers crossed he gets some luck and stays injury free.

Disagree that Hammond is injury prone. He was often left out of Dean Ryan's teams when he should have been in. He has always been influential when playing and only got injured playing to the limit in teams that needed twice his physical effort to win. Only worry that he is 'expected' (read expendable) to come back too soon after a hamstring injury.

centrethere, my DH stood for Dusty Hare not Dean Hammond.
