Six Nations fixtures clash with AP for us on 10Feb (Exeter) and 23Feb (Oirish).
6N rest weekends coincide with Glawster & Tiggers,

I don't see it as an especially 'helpful' period for us this season ?

Why do folk use childish names for other clubs?

The guys who have played in the games are supposed to rest so there could be a few still missing (I think)

Can't be waiting for supposed weakened squads to help ignite our annual revival just like we can't write off most of the first half of the season because FH may be in Rugby Champ and Teo will be involved in numerous England get together.

The best we've got on the day needs to outperform the best the others have on the day. Hopefully Gold is instilling that even as we speak.

Possibly for similar reasons to those who associate themselves with supposedly spiritual mythical entities.

Possibly.

Don't by any means always agree with you FF, but you've hit the nail on the head there.

I don"t think so, and nor does my friend who is a Budgies fan.

Will help against tigers, hinder against Irish and breakeven against the other two.

Certainly can't rely on that period to pick up extra points this season.

Autumn Internationals
18th November (Northampton Saints H) - Hartley, Lawes, Wood, North, Ma'afu, Ratuniyarawa, Pisi, Tuala)
25th November (24th Leicester A) - Cole, Rizzo, Youngs, Ford, Mulipola, Veainu)

Six Nations
10th Feb (Exeter Chiefs) - Francis, Slade, Campagnaro, Nowell
24th Feb (London Irish)

The 6N may not be as profitable for us as last season - beating Saracens, and BP against Exeter. We never come close to beating Exeter, especially away so not expecting anything from that game.

However the Autumn Internationals could be where we target a couple of upsets. Saints and Tigers will be missing approx. 6-8 players each for their games against us which presents a real opportunity. However we may well be missing Hougaard, Denton and Te'o ourselves!

Don't forget Sharky came close to England call to Argentina, Singleton got a call, so might be other depletions for us potentially. Going to test the real squad depth quality if these calls do occur.

In reality Schonert, Spencer, Mills, and Singleton are way down in the pecking order. They can't called in due to the Lions and several injuries on the England tour. Can't see them getting another call up unless we have an exceptional season.

2. Hartley/George/LCD/Taylor
3. Cole/Sinckler/Williams/Collier
4/5. Itoje/Lawes/Kruis/Launchbury/Ewels/Isiekwe/
12. Farrell/Te'o/Slade/James/Mallinder/Devoto

Tigers won't be gave ford, Youngs or Cole back on the six nations rest weekend.

Might be missing Manu if he ever becomes fit again too.

I really think it's a great opportunity to beat tigers after a couple of narrow misses.
