Talking of kicking to the corner and percentages, the success rate for scoring from a catch and drive is probably quite low. How this compares with other teams I don't know. Maybe teams are much better these days at defending the drive?

Teams donít bother competing at the lineout now. Just set up to defend the catch and drive.

Iirc this tatctic was first done by the Italians against england(?) about a decade ago. Theyíd read up on the rules and figured out that you donít have to compete at the lineout.

Hmmm... so 4 posts misunderstood all of which seem to suggest you know more than most. Which is good, and welcome.
Rumour was that a 10 was heading to our shores. Alongside your African continent based lock and Iíd heard about an academy utility back a while ago that was due to land in Jan.

Am I close?

Don't know anymore, always lots of speculation and rumor, just hope that our current ownership issue is resolved quickly so that we can build on the squad

Heathcote concussion till April probably had factor on that.
He's gonna have to retire all things considered.

In my highly ignorant opinion - based on no medical training or knowledge.....

As a layman it is hard to see how one head can take that much punishment and retirement not at the very least be the advisable path...sadly

Interesting wording re Jono Lance. He has returned to Australia whilst he recovers from a broken hand. This actually implies he will return when his hand is mended although it may just be slightly sloppy wording?

The wording is interesting, as it doesnít say for definite if he has played his last game for Worcester or is merely in Oz recuperating and then coming back, could be read either way

To me it reads as if he would be coming back. Could be he's gone home to see family and friends while he has the opportunity to do so. Although surely the club would of done a big announcement if they had been able to get him to stay for longer.

I think ASís words are misleading. If you read Jonoís Twitter post:

Successfully surprised the parents back in aus but now I can thank @WorcsWarriors for an amazing 3 months. Great opportunity was given and I hope I did #sixways proud ... #coyw #chelts #warriors

It would be great to see him back, however it does seem we are past tense.

As far as the initial 6 weeks off he has 1 week to go and shouldnít he be part of the team injured or not. Teío has stayed in the UK, Olivier has stayed in the UK, Schonert has stayed in the UK. Is he outside the team?

Most 6 week injuries at Warriors morph into 12 weeks on further investigation.

If he has left for good, then if course he can do what he likes until another offer is made. Whether the offer is from Wuss or part of the Super 14 franchise, who knows.

Yet Mills reóó-signed. Arguably the most crucial one.

Not entirely sure that club ownership would be Teíos reason. His commitment to Warriors was being questioned long before the mention of a sale.

He will still leave if the club who wants him buys out his contract.

With Adam's and Te'o being bought out that could be worth £500k to the club.

JP, I don't think we have been shafted by Jono at all. In fact time may prove that he saved our season, if not he has largely given us a fighting chance.

He came to us with a contract already signed for elsewhere (granted he has since been released). He never promised that he would stay here, and his tweet certainly seemed to be a fond farewell.

That doesn't in any way compare to Rooney, who signed for us and then never arrived.

I agree with you on lots. But cannot agree with this comparison.

He agreed to work with the club to get himself released from his rebels contract. As soon as that was achieved he immediately signed for Queensland.

How much time and money has that cost the club?

Time that could have been spent finding and recruiting a flyhalf.

We may not agree but I believe he did shaft us.
