South African Head Coach on Facebook

I know it is only a rumour but for me it was quite positive and to have a younger Head Coach to support Solomon's is refreshing.
He seems to have a bit of experience in Vodacom and at present DOR of Free State Cheetahs.
The name is Rory Duncan and it is at the request of Solomon's.

A bit harsh that one JP !

Only other reference to Duncan is buried on Page 2 of the thread about Carl Hogg.

I wouldnít dig too deep JP, someone mentioned Brooklyn Beckham being so named because thatís where he was conceived, someone mentioned a bus shelter, someone else an alleyway behind Tramps, I was obviously posh, I suggested my first born could well have named Granada Ghia.

If your depressed I suggest you get out and get some sunshine on your knees.

I have no intention to depress anyone just discussing what is going on at and around the club.

I am still the same happy chap pie who relishes having a bit of fun.

Irish saved from relegation by collapse of Warriors, who have been unable to find a new owner and agreed to step down from Premiership Rugby.
It is not clear if Warriors Rugby will re-build back up again from the lower non professional divisions.

Showing your age there Ted, exactly how long ago was it that the Granada was considered posh? I still remember their demise from something that showed you had achieved in your profession, all the way down to "No dad, don't you dare pick me up in that".

I think the horrendous Scorpio was the death nail of big mass-market car.

Oh, I've just noticed this thread was originally about rugby.

Back in the days when the better model features a chrome strip and slightly plusher velour. The Ghia was the one to have, mind.

Just came across this on Twitter

Meanwhile back at the Ranch, there†are also reports†that Cheetahs coach†Rory Duncan†may leave to join English club, Worcester Warriors.
🤔
The Cheetahs were reluctant to comment on the reports.

And someoneís response to the tweet.....

I have spoken with Rory and he says the offer is just too good not to accept. He also said other things like experience etc blah blah

And the pay in England is better than SA; I'm not being nasty, just realistic. Good luck to him and if he does come, it can only be good for us.

On the recruitment front too. The Cheetahs have some very good players coming off contract like Oupa Mohojť and Francois Venter...he can bring them along too if he likes
