I'm all for "home" games @ HQ. I realise it's a money making exercise for the RFU as I'm sure they made more revenue out of it than Bath or Tigers did,(correct me if I'm wrong) but @ this stage of the season with Bath trying to break into the top 6 wouldn't it have been more beneficial to have played the game @ the Rec?
Surely more chance of beating Tigers there?
Obviously Bath would've had some input but does the RFU have the final word on such matters?

My understanding was that this was all down to Bath and nothing to do with the RFU. It is the greed of bath and wanting to promote their brand in London as there are lots of exiled county set to keep happy. Mind you they could go the whole hog and recreate themselves as London Bath in reading, which would give them the bigger stadium they have always wanted.
