Any Warriors in England tour to SA?

Nick hopes for a chance on the SA tour. Any other Warriors likely given the usual shortage of full caps due to Prem Final selection.

Singleton, T'eo (almost certain(Sm100)).....

I think poor old Ryan Mills would have gone if fit.

Agreed JP, same with Spencer and his injury. Pennell would've probably had a look in if was a few years younger. Won the head to head with Brown on Saturday.

I know he won't, but Pennell would deserve it on this season's evidence. Brown was dropped on the 6N and Watson is injured. Joseph is also out, meaning we might see Daly at 13 instead of back three.

Will Spencer be fit for it? I know he's injured but not sure how long for. Kruis is out of the tour, with Launchbury and Itoje possibly in the final, or the latter being rested. He's probably behind Ewels but a different option to the others mentioned.

Nick's best chance will come at the expense of Sinckler IMO, who looks like he could do with the summer off to have a think. Cole and Williams will go, you'd imagine.

I really like Jack for us and think he's a really solid player and a good product of the academy, but I don't see him as international class* and he's behind George, LCD, Dunn and possibly Taylor I think.
*though front row isn't my speciality at all.

Apart from Te'o I do not see any Warriors on the tour this summer.

Two left field possibilities:

Chris Pennell. If Mike Brown is still in Eddie Jones' plans, he needs a rest badly this summer.

If "apprentices" are going, on Saturday's evidence Jamie Shillcock is ahead of Marcus Smith.

Perhaps a little bias here!

Hartley has been ruled out through injury so surely Singleton is in with a shout

Think EJ needs to think of next years World Cup with a development squad. Jack and Nick good options, Te’o needs to be rested freeing up a space for a development centre. Can see anyone’s else getting the nod. Think young Kitch may be a development lock for a dirt trackers team as a very very long shot.

I think that Eternal optimist is living up to the name - Kitch has yet to become a regular even in WW 1st team.s for the rest - Singleton might well get to go but no other save for Teo

I don't think it'll be development, other than those players in for rested lions. We're a year away from a world cup training squad announcement, so any player who goes on tour needs to be in with a shout of having a plane ticket to Japan. EJ has had his opportunity to bring young players on and he's largely done that.

Also, I've got to say that Smith was the best fly half on the pitch IMO even with his side playing so poorly.

Stephen Jones in Sunday Times wants Nick to go.
(That being said, I remember him wanting Dean Schofield to be picked).
