Confirmed by the club that both players are leaving.

Good luck lads, you were exciting to watch.

Shame for Stelling as that one season in the championship he looked the real deal but never made the step up. Hopefully Howard will do well on the 7s circuit

Either would make an excellent acquisition for a Championship team.

I agree with Rollo. The Prem is a huge step up and even England U-20's don't always make it but there is sill a good life to e lived in the Championship or Seven's. Good luck to them both.
Behind these two. Are more young players hungry to move onwards and upwards.

Think Coventry would be a good fit for Stelling. He knows the Championship and Cov will need someone like him to help them adjust to a higher level.

Ironically if he did go Cov he's be replacing a certain Alex Grove at centre.

Was surprised to see that Sam Tuitupou is also at Coventry. Ambitious to get back in the big time by the sounds of things.

But probably still good to crash it up the middle for 60 mins, steamroller a few 10s, and put in some destructive hits, all of which could be exploited, particularly in the last 20.

Whatever you do, do it safely!

I meant Coventry being ambitious to get back in big time not Sam. Sorry for confusion.

As I said on another thread. Howard played in 1 tournament for England in HK whilst the main squad was at the Commonwealth games. I think he will find it tricky to pick up a permanent contract for England 7s.
