Seem to remember we were his other option when he left Sale as he wanted to play 9 and not 15...

Been a great player shame it tailed off as he was a better 15 than Brown for Eng IMHO.

Be interesting to see where he goes

Urm....he was a different 15.

His basics were never as solid as Brown's (in his prime) in mu opinion. But he was the better counter attacker.

Depends what you wanted from your full back I guess,

Indeed, hes 32, should be good for a few seasons yet, and in form a classy player.

Depends who you listen to, but reading between the lines the move may not have been of his choice.

Don't know what his personal circs are but career - wise he seems at the ideal point for a couple of seasons taking it easy but earning some big money in Japan.

Whatever you do, do it safely!

May depend on what Mrs Foden is planning to do with her little female pop combo The Saturdays. They are mostly creating kids in recent years, but may put out another album in the near future, plus a tour to help make ends meet. This may rule out a move overseas.

Maybe he'll join the Cov promotion side, or Ealing or LI. Don't think it will be us.

He looked pretty brisk when he scored against us last November!

Given we're looking to overtake Saints at the weekend, I wouldn't think we'd be too interested in a player they think is now surplus to requirements. A great player in his day, possibly a great addition to an ambitious Championship team to add some experience and quality.

Or a player that I would suit the Saracens or Exeter environment as a career revival perhaps

Sale would be a good shout for him with Charnley moving on. Still think Foden has something to offer
