For some time now I have been firmly of the opinion that we need another lock ahead of next season.
Should we have gone for Andy Symons?
My memory tells me that he wasn't all bad.......and he would know roughly what to expect at Sixways, or, is it a case of him having bunt his bridges a few years back?

Are you confusing him with his brother? Andy Symons played as a centre for Worcester.

Matt Symons is rumoured to be off to Quins

Allegedly a little bit of a tough manage....allegedly

Confirmed on BBC website. He was a real competitor when he played for Chiefs, and was believed to be considered to play for NZ before moving back to England. Doesn't seem to have gone as he hoped.

Captained Chiefs if I recall. Definitely confirmed to Quins.

Andy Symons' kicking out of hand is probably far superior to that of my favoured "rumour" Geoff Parling but I rather suspect that he would be a "bit pants" packing down as a lock or calling a line out. (Sm14)

Sorry - my senior moment of the day in getting my Andy's mixed up with my Matt's who IS a lock, who doesn't know Worcester and who was not in Solly's thinking - obviously.
I'll lay down and have a rest.
