Gets the call up after a few injuries last evening.

Did well to miss that poor excuse of a game.

Great news, next Sat. is now a must watch. And hopefully the Argentinian TV crew will have a better idea of how to show a rugby match than the Yanks. (Sorry!....)

Hewitt injured in training then a very unfortunate knee injury for Steff Evans. Isn't it amazing how quickly the "Politics" get put to one side ?

Good luck Josh.

Always remembering that the politics only arose because the Washington game was outside the official international window, there was never any problem with the 2 Argie games.

Gats initial policy was to not select players who wouldn’t be available for all 3 games. He’s now on plan B.

But as PG Wodehouse puts it, Mr Gatland is easily distinguished from a ray of sunshine at the best of times.

The cheek of Gatland is staggering!
He is now saying that 'rugby politics'is getting in the way of all sorts of things'. He KNEW the rules/politics when he agreed the tour and then said that English-based players would not be picked because he wanted the same squad throughout the tour. So, as soon as he gets a couple of injuries then that goes out of the window.
He is playing politics with players emotions and careers so I hope that Josh knows what he may be getting himself into.

Outside of int window, so created his own problem but blames Prem for ‘protecting its product’ despite him returning Prem stars back early to their clubs (hopefully not broken like EJ). Craig, McC and players will look at Welfare it is hoped.

Wazza chooses to play games outside of Int window and only slowly whittles away at a silly selection rule seeking to bring ‘home’ players who are not based in the Regions, and talks of playing politics? Mmmm. Is he after First Minister job that’s available after Carwyn’s decision to step down?

He certainly did.
Nothing spectacular but a good solid game.
Made some very good tackles in defence, and showed glimpses of what he can do if given some room to move.
Looking forward to the next test.

Be great if there was a clause in his contract giving us first refusal of he ever came back to England providing Gatland's Law changed.

Let’s hope for his sake the regional Welsh clubs pay him what he is worth and not take advantage over the knowledge he “has” to play in Wales and which club needs a new winger and give him so much game time.

He could easily move and drift backwards.

We can offer him a contract extension, just means he won’t play international Rugby for wales while Gatland is in charge

Gats finishes with Wales on Nov 2nd 2019. Or arguably earlier if Wales fail to reach the World Cup Final. (Heaven forfend).

When will Gatland’s Law effectively cease to be effective?

We don’t know. I’ll bet Josh would rather stay in the English Premiership than go to Wales, not sure if that would be with Wuss though.

Not a done deal either way.

Although "Gatlands Law" in name it is the WRU's policy.

I'm not sure if a Gatland departure will alter their stance. Particularly with it appearing to be effective!
