I posted the same probably 4-5 months ago, so some changes

Don't forget the coaching team:

Alan Solomons (DoR) - SA
Rory Duncan (HC) - SA
Neil Doak (attack & Backs) – not SA
Omar Mouneimne (Defence) – SA - may have been released now?

It absolutely worked for Sarries and bringing in players/coaches with little WW baggage is of no issue to me. May help to wipe the slate clean.

True, although to do a sarries we'd need also to be signing other side's star players, sadly we're not there.

Venter could easily fit both categories.

It's very naughty, I suppose, to drag up an old thread, but do you suppose we could end up in South African ownership, or part ownership? That worked for Sarries too, and might be more acceptable than the presumed main alternative.

They don't get well paid in rugby in South Africa and with the exchange rate making Sterling a strong currency against the Rand they get to put away a fair amount if they return home. South Africa also produce very good rugby players, its no wonder they are in high demand.
