Great for all three! Curry and Smith look a cut above everyone they've played so far so if they're on song, it should be another final for England.

Shame for Cutting as I thought he looked pretty good in their last game.

Hope so, I thought he had a good game and certainly didn't see any other reason to drop him.

He didn't come out for the second half - maybe injured?

Our boys looking good. Hill looks really good, but is being turned over because no one is following him into contact. I hope all of the u20 lads get game time in the cups next year.

I noticed that too. As soon as he carried into contact the other forwards struggled to clear out effectively. Twice he was turned over when there were men there who should have secured the ball.

Agreed, I though Hill had a very good game. James Scott is also a smart operator.

France have the better pack but England have better backs. There is usually only one winner in situations like that...

I assume the better forwards? My understanding,I maybe wrong,is that if the front 8 get front front foot it's the base you need to go forward and make the backs play.
Generally if the forwards are poor the backs will be.

I heard one pundit say that you need the piano shifters to deliver the piano so the backs can play the tune.

I agree, the FRENCH 8 ARE VERY VERY GOOD.

Defend and counter fast.

Yes, I think the French forwards might have too much. However, if England can get them trying to play a quicker game, it could play into our hands. Shouldn't be too hard in front of a partisan crowd.

Two great semi finals with England continuing their big brothers propensity to cough up penalties and NZ youngsters getting lax refereeing with sir warning them quite a few times but no more than that despite "careless" use of the boot and taking out an opponent who was so far behind the ruck.

Good luck the lads for the final
