Injuries

It's a long off season so I thought I'd strike up a thread about injuries. They were a big part of our last 2 seasons and I firmly believe that if we have a strong start to the 18-19 season we can kick on from a relegation battel.

I know it may seem a bit early to be talking about these but last yeara signicant number of players picked up injuries in the off season (e.g. Mama, Mills, Denton, Potgieter, Pennell, Hougaard, Olivier, Baldwin and Kirwan all injured before we even played a competitive game)

Does anyone have any idea who finished the season injured or may have had an operation in the off season:

Mills
Annett
Te'o
Olivier
Phillips?
Fatialofa (won't be available til November)
Kirwan
Potgieter
Baldwin
Hougaard

I know some of these are potentially minor niggles, whereas others are returning from long term injuries. However I think it would be very optimistic to say we will start the season with a 100% fit squad. Worst case scenario we could be starting the season with 2 centres and 2 locks.

Let's hope for no injuries pre-season which starts on thursday.
According to Francois (Hougaard, not Venter) who i spoke to in town last week.

Teo is currently injured. Only one that I can think of who may not make pre-season.

Seen some recent posts from Carl Kirwan.
He's been hitting the gym a lot.
Looks in good shape

Wynand is ready to rock too!
