For me thatís excellent news.

Bearing in mind it could be the last time we see him at 6Ways we should give him a cheer, Iím sure Bradders will take note.

I wonder if he would like to become a consultant for our club to teach the players how to play within the laws.

Well, his specialities as a Barrister at Fulcrum Chambers are listed, amongst others, as Bribery and Corruption.

Perhaps a lifetime supply of decent Biltong............

Let's hope that Wayne was well looked after when he was guest speaker at WRFC Business Lunch last week.

He'll be fine for us, as long as the team have learned from mistakes of the last 2 weeks. He won't take kindly to gobby players, so GJVV will need to step a little closer to discuss things instead of Millsy trying to 'fill the silence'.

Apart from the Matthews v Heathcote event, he generally refs correctly, so we just needs to keep the right side of the laws or become proficient in the 'dark arts' which are less visible to Sir's eye.

He won't use TJ's, as that is his methodology in most games.

I'm afraid that I can't get it out of my head that the Barnes appointment and the import of this article are related.

But it's probably just a coincidence.

No coincidence at all. Entirely predictable.
Has happened before. We moan or get a publicly acknowledged raw deal - we get Barnsey next up.
Likewise, for a likely relegation decider - we get Barnsey.
All as it should be. He is the best.
