In this amazing season there are two out in front, two doing OK, and eight about the same, all of whom could be relegated or make the Heineken. As bonus points will be precious today's result was the best possible for Worcester, even though we've dropped to ninth.

I find it somewhat curious that some people on various other threads have claimed this season to be a good one for us. We've only won a third of our games.

Don't get me wrong, I know we've done a lot worse in the past, but still.

It was hard work to watch though.

The best bit being Coops kickthrough for the Bath try, always liked him.

It was a properly tidy piece of work by Coops. Poor defending though, but still enjoyable to watch. I liked the commentators raving about the Wilson pass and the Cokanasiga finish. That try was all Coops.

It was good watching it with a bath fan.

I felt his pain

Am i the only one who thinks “Coops” is almost as bad as “rugger”?

So have a lot of people.

The clubs in the bottom half of the table are extraordinarily well matched at the moment.

Surely we need to get away from thinking we're doing ok just because other clubs are underachieving.

Why does that mean they are underachieving?

Why is it not evidence that 5-12th have closed up to such an extent that they all play and lose to each other in a massive variety of combinations, hence lots of clubs being close?

Fair point. I'm not sure if Tigers and Bath fans see it that way at the moment.

It’s all relative isn’t it?

For the likes of Tigers and Bath their current performance doesn’t match previous historic results, so from their perspective a feeling of underachievement is understandable.
