Who else would we like to see contracted.Gethin/Cuthbert come to my mind.It seems to be quite a harsh rubgy economic environment currently. We might get an extra year out of some of our veterans but, presumably, only at reduced wages.

I was under the impression that Sweeney was off to Ponty and that Rushy and Mustoe's contracts were up.

There's obviously a lot of youngsters who would help fill up that list: Fish, Harry Robinson, Corey Allen, Lewis Jones, Owen Williams etc in the backs and the likes of Macauley Cook, Corey Hill, Tom Young and Luke Hamilton in the second/back rows.

Front row looks very weak though...

T.R.Thomas & R. Rees are the sort of players needed to be held on to, both quality players with experience and available all year round.

Maybe but we also have some really good younger players coming through in some positions. Was impressed again with Corey Hill last night who put in a great shift for a kid of 20. Didn't look out of place at all. Glad Rushie is staying (fair play one of the Cardiff girls got him in the end - had to happen)
We always talk gloom and doom when players are off but then another Halfpenny or Cuthbert turns up all raw and untested and slots right in.
